The recession might be over. But tight spending will stay. We've heard so many stories about using credit without discipline and going through the great pain of foreclosure, hiking credit card interest rate or similar kind. Many consumers have started spending on budget and saving for future given the tough environment. Discount shopping is a must-do task for budgeting people or those looking for deals. Here are three great couponing tips I'd like to share with you.

Use coupons for items on clearance and with special price. If the item you want to buy is usually priced at $15, and you have a coupon to save $3. Once you see the price decreases a dollar or more, you can buy it with the coupon. It basically saves you more than just the coupon could.

Shop at stores that multiple coupon value such as "double coupon". Some grocery stores offer double-coupon ability, meaning if you have a $.45 off coupon, the store will give you $0.90 off (the discount is doubles!). It is just sweet.

Do online shopping with discounts or coupons. The Internet is shaping the future of shopping. Many stores offer bigger discounts on their store website. Some of them also provide free shipping or Walmart's site-to-store type of service. You don't have to visit all the stores for discount information. By simply visiting some coupon sites, you can easily take advantage of free daily coupon and deal information there. One great site you can follow is DealAM.com (http://www.dealam.com) that publishes thousands of hot coupons and deals from name well-known stores, and it is updated daily.

Keep the above couponing weapons in mind whenever you shop. It may be hard at the beginning. After practicing for a while, you will get used to it and save yourself a lot by simply following those tips.
